School software usually fails at adoption: another app, another login, another training cycle. Socio keeps control in the office workspace and uses WhatsApp for everyday users.
Parents already open WhatsApp. Socio does not ask them to install, register and remember a school-only application. Everyday actions—fees, attendance notices, transport alerts, pickup—happen on the school number.
Everything the institution must control: student records, fee schedules, attendance reporting, HR, payroll, routes, gate rules, permissions and audit history. WhatsApp is the access layer for people outside the office, not a second database.
Only the admin. Staff and parents reach each other through the school’s WhatsApp number, so a teacher or driver never holds a parent’s personal number, and parents never hold staff numbers. When staff leave, families’ numbers stay with the school.
The office. Prospective parents message or call the same school number. The message center and call center let the office answer, keep notes and follow up.
School records live in the institution’s Socio workspace, with role permissions and export/retention controls available in the product. The WhatsApp Business identity is provisioned for the school. Exact ownership, portability and Meta verification follow provider terms—we review those with you rather than promising a universal outcome.
Guided setup: data migration, staff roles, WhatsApp verification, training and go-live milestones. Duration depends on KYC and Meta verification, not a slogan about zero effort.
You should be able to export school records according to the controls in the platform. Number continuity depends on WhatsApp and Business API provider rules. We document that path during contracting so it is not a surprise later.
Conventional school platforms still need the office dashboard—and then they also need every parent to install and keep using a dedicated app. Socio keeps the dashboard for administrators and uses WhatsApp for everyday users. We do not claim unnamed competitors’ uptime, pricing or school counts.
